Long Weekend Binge Read: The American Queen Trilogy

It starts with a stolen kiss under an English sky, and it ends with a walk down the aisle. It starts with the President sending his best friend to woo me on his behalf, and it ends with my heart split in two. It starts with buried secrets and dangerous desires…and ends with the three of us bound together with a hateful love sharper than any barbed wire.

My name is Greer Galloway, and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States.

This is the story of an American Queen.

American Queen:

I'll admit. I'd heard about this series years ago, but I had put on starting it because I didn't think a political romance would be up my alley.  Turns out, I made a huge mistake. This book sucked me in from the very first page. Greer has been groomed to be the perfect political pawn by her grandfather. She knows how to quietly observe the room without garnering too much attention.  That is.. until she meets a military hero. An older man who knows how special she is, but knows she's untouchable.  Even as the years gone by, these two people haven't forgotten one and another, and when the time is finally right, someone else from Greer's pass brings her back into his orbit.

What we get from this story is a sordid, dirty love affair years in the making. There's only one problem. He's the President of the United States, and the man she lost her v-card too when she was rejected by him.. just so happens to be his VP and lover.  It's messy yet so satisfying I couldn't put it down.

American Prince:

American Prince picks up right where we left off in American Queen.  Greer has been taken, and she's found herself in peril on what should be the best week of her life... her honeymoon.  Yet, not all is what it seems in New Camelot, and their sweet prince, Embry, finds himself in way too deep.  This thrilling sequel to one of the best political romances I've read in a long time brings so much more depth to their story.  Embry, Ash, and Greer are faced with more than her kidnapping. They're commit to each other is about to be tested in ways that will break your heart. Trust me, I freaking cried like a baby, and I never cry.  So freaking good.

American King

The thrilling and.. dare I say very surprising ending to a trilogy that I could not put down. Seriously. I had a writing deadline, and the second I picked up American Queen I knew that I was in major trouble.

American King wraps up the heartbreaking love story between three people who just want to love each other. The world be damned. The lies and betrayals from American Prince is only the beginning.  American King brings a whole new plot twist that will leave you reeling until the very last freaking page.
