This is exactly the book that I wanted for #4 in this series. Perfect storyline. Perfect way to mend a broken heart without having to help hide a body. Just perfect.

As Grier is being forced to relish in her new station as Dame Woolworth, the action and intrigue come with it. The title aptly describes how delicate this dance will be. Grier is nursing a broken heart, but must continue in her role, and her developing feelings for Linus. Not to mention the fact the target on her back continues to get more and more bullseyes on it. It’s almost as if Grier is tap dancing on a tightrope over two pits. The pit of death, and the pit of life. Teetering on the edge of losing or gaining it all. Except where Linus is concerned. He’s the constant in her life. The one she feels she can trust, and that trusts her in return. Linus gives her freedom to live her life and encourages her to grow not only in her powers, but as a person as well. Just as she is with him and his secrets as terrifying as they may be.

And if her life wasn’t full enough of surprises, pain, and heartbreak, Grier has now grow her family from a haunted house, her undead parrot, an orphaned ghost, a teacher with secrets, and now a pack of Gwyllgi who are sworn to protect her after saving them in book #3. Her cup now runneth over big time. Add in the fact that her father’s parentage makes her even more unique and dangerous at the same time, and you have a volatile story of love and loss that will suck you in at the first chapter.

This is the book where Grier finds her footing, and her potential future in all aspects. She’s who she is and she’s come to terms with it. As this story closes, Undead Waltz will leave your heart pounding in rhythm to the beat of Grier’s own drum and begging for the next book.
