TBR Pile Review: Trixsters Anonymous by Ahren Sanders

 

Sassy, dramatic, hot-headed are just some of the words used to describe me since the time I was born. A few little mishaps growing up and my mom has a running ‘Emerson Baker’ prayer circle, and I have the reputation of a spit-fire that won’t go away.

I prefer the terms loyal, passionate, fiery, and possibly a bit impulsive.
So when my best friend proposes the concept of starting our own business, I jump on the idea.

That should be our motto… because your secrets can’t stay hidden for long with Trixsters Anonymous on the case.

I have been an Ahren Sanders fan girl from her very first book, and Trixter’s Anonymous is another marvelous addition to her collection. I am always drawn to strong female leads, and Emi is exactly the kind of girl I love to read about, a hell raiser. She’s feisty, and doesn’t take betrayal lying down. She’s the kind of woman who bides her time and makes calculated moves before going in for the kill. Well, except for Walker. He strikes her like a lightning bolt and their wild journey flashes through the pages. The chemistry between these two characters is marvelously crafted and the quickness to their relationship doesn’t feel like it is going at light speed. The story is slight seriously in nature with their private investigation escapades, but the light-hearted humor makes this book a must read.

Trixsters Anonymous has all the right words and moves to be the perfect combination of sweet, sassy, and everything else in between.
